Scott Zimmerman is a business attorney specializing in dispute resolution. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan (B.A. 1975) and the University of California (UCLA, M.A. 1980 and U.C. Davis School of Law, J.D. 1983). Scott was Executive Editor of the U.C. Davis Law Review and recipient of the Neumiller Award for excellence in trial advocacy.

Scott has experience at both large and small law firms. He began his career in 1983 at Irell & Manella in Los Angeles, and was subsequently a partner at Sanders Barnet Goldman Simons and Mosk, before starting his own law firm in 1996, Zimmerman Walker & Monitz LLP, where he practiced business litigation for 21 years. In 2017, Scott opened Zimmerman Legal Network LA in Santa Monica, California, taking advantage of modern technologies where all file-keeping is digital and cloud based, enabling work to be accomplished from anywhere, in collaboration with other attorneys, professionals, and clients.

Scott has represented individual and corporate clients in diverse business areas, including corporate, real estate, securities and partnership matters. He has been trial counsel in numerous proceedings in California courts and before arbitration tribunals, and has argued numerous matters before the California Courts of Appeal.
